What You Can Expect at the Tab

Casual
The TAB’s worship services are for worshiping God and making friends with others. We have tried to create an atmosphere that is casual so you can wear whatever you want such from dress attire to jeans, shorts, sandals and t-shirts. It’s up to you. The most important thing to us is that you find the atmosphere welcoming and that you feel comfortable as you are.

Friendly
At The TAB you will find that people are friendly and just like you. The church is non-judgmental and welcoming. We have been told that we are a very friendly group of people and loving. But, you’ll have to check it out for yourself!

Family
At The TAB we are all family! We invite you to be a part of something much bigger than just you or your family and that is the Family of God. We also welcome all kinds of families and want to provide support as well. We have child care available during the worship services on Sunday mornings for small children. Soon we hope to be able to offer more children’s ministries. We also have a youth ministry called Cross Culture Youth Ministry which meets each Thursday evening and is led by our youth pastor, Tara Harding.

Contemporary
The worship services at The TAB are contemporary in that modern praise and worship music is led by the Revival Glory Band so that everyone can participate in praise and worship. We love to praise and worship the Living God with our voices and instruments. Also, relevant teaching of God’s word is shared each week by Pastor Sandy Turnbull or another minister. You don’t have to fear being bored. Just come ready to be challenged in your walk with God.

Growing
At The TAB we are a people growing spiritually in our journey with God. It is our hope that you will hear God’s word in the worship services and be challenged to fulfill the purpose of God for your life. We also offer weekly bible studies called Life Cell Bible Study Groups. Each group is made up of 10-20 people who meet in homes throughout Long Beach and Orange County. Finally, we offer our bible school program for those who would like to be equipped for life and ministry. This program is called the A.C.T.S. Institute and it is a two year course that is offered in 3 trimesters each year.

Diverse
At The TAB everyone is welcome. There is a place for you! It doesn’t matter if you are old or young, single or partnered, rich or poor, gay or straight- there is a place for you. The diversity in our church is welcomed because we want to reflect our community and promote the message that Jesus is the answer for everyone.
